Dr. Parameshachari B.D. currently working as a Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Yelahanka, Bengaluru Affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, Karnataka, India. Dr. Parameshachari has been appointed as Distinguished Speaker by ACM and IEEE Virtual Speaker by Virtual Bureau Speaker Program. He is also currently Serving as a Chair-IEEE Mysore Subsection, Founder Chair-IEEE Information Theory Society Bangalore Chapter, 2022 Treasurer & 2021 Secretary for IEEE Circuits and Systems (CAS) Society Bangalore Chapter. He has established 14 IEEE Student Branches and 30 IEEE Student Branch Chapters across Karnataka.
He has a total 19+ years of teaching and research experience and he has worked at various positions and places like Karnataka, Kerala and Mauritius. He is recognized as Research Guide at VTU, Belagavi and Awarded one PhD under his guidance, currently, Five Research Scholars are pursuing Ph.D. Degree under his supervision. He has served in various expert committees for VTU, Belagavi.
Dr. Parameshachari B.D has published over 115+ articles in SCI, SCOPUS and other indexed journals and also in conferences.
He is also serving as the Lead Guest Editor for several reputed publishers like Taylor & Francis, Springer, Elsevier, IEEE and Hindawi Journals.
Dr. Parameshachari is the recipient of the awards such as: IEEE Bangalore Section Outstanding Volunteer Award 2020,IEEE Bangalore Section Best Branch Counsellor Award and Outstanding Reviewer-Elsevier Signal Processing
His research interests include Image Encryption, Computer Vision, Signal Processing, Network Security and Pattern Recognition, Data Science and IoT. He is the Senior Member of IEEE-USA, Fellow of IETE-New Delhi and Fellow of ISAC-Hong Kong. Member of International Professional Societies such as ACM-USA, IACSIT-Singapore, IAENG-Hong Kong, SAI-USA. CSTA-USA, IAOE-Austria. National Professional bodies like ISTE, ISOC and IEI.
