Dr K Lal Kishore received his B.E from Osmania University in 1974 He received his M.Tech and PhD from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 1976 and 1986 respectively. He worked in the capacity of Principal, Director, Rector and Registrar at JNTUH. He provided services as Vice-Chancellor for JNTUA. He worked as Professor and Head, at Defense Engineering College, Ethiopia, on lien. He was Visiting Professor at Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok. He is a recipient of many prestigious awards and honors in India and abroad. ISTE Uttar Pradesh Government national award for outstanding work done in specified areas of engineering and Technology, Award for Outstanding Contribution to World, given by World Chancellors and Vice Chancellors Education Congress etc are few of the prestigious awards he received.
